Its application in the classroom of a foreign language gives the opportunity to form the skills of communication; develops the habit of self-control, contributes to the real preparation of students for the upcoming activities and life in society as a whole; helps to make the lessons of a foreign language more alive, interesting, meaningful, and allow students more often to express their own opinions, express feelings, thoughts, evaluations, i.e. to think in a foreign language. As techniques for improvement of professional orientation of foreign language learning, there may be: communication is a dialogue about professional information in a foreign language, analysis of social and professional situations, students performing creative tasks with relevant content, game situations, role-playing, quiz. The effect of application of innovative technologies with the aim of improving the professional orientation of foreign language learning in school, as practice shows, is the most notable when they are used in the lessons, ensuring the mastery of a whole set of skills, creating a productive base for efficient profiling in life. Let us consider modern innovative methods of foreign language teaching aimed at more effective development of personality and adaptation (both social and professional) in today’s rapidly changing society.- the multilateral method;

— teaching a foreign language using the Internet. What skills are essential for a 21stcentury learner? In the conditions of economic globalization, population growth and rapid technological change individuals and society face new challenging tasks. Today in the school systems in the revision process are knowledge and skills that students need for success, and educational methods and ways of teaching this knowledge to children. To prepare students to live, to work and to be a citizen in the twenty-first century is a difficult task. Globalization, new technologies, migration, market changes, competition between countries, political turmoil and environmental problems — all this demands development of knowledge, abilities and skills that students will need in the twenty-first century. Skills, knowledge, values, ethical attitudes and concepts needed in the new century:

• Ways of thinking: creative and innovative thinking, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making learning-to-learning.

• Ways of working: communication and collaboration.

• Tools: General awareness and ability to use information and communication technologies.

• Life in the world: citizenship, life and career, personal and social responsibility, including cultural awareness and competence. In order to live, to work and to be a citizen of the XXI century, students need seven essential skills:

1. Critical thinking and ability to solve problems.

2. Cooperation and leadership.

3. Ingenuity and ability to adapt.

4. Initiative and enterprise.

5. Effective oral and written communication.

6. The ability to obtain and analyze information.

7. Curiosityandimagination. In most countries the dominant approach to compulsory education remains the transmission model — a method of transmitting information from teacher to student through lectures and textbooks. In the transmission model, students can obtain information, but, as a rule, have no possibility of wide practical application of acquired knowledge to new conditions, comprehensive messages, use them for solving problems or as a platform for the development of creative potential.
